Shelter Dogs in a Photo Booth - Guinnevere Shuster

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I saw lots of people rave about this book on Twitter, sharing a few of the images from the book. Of course my interest was peeking. Cute dogs? Photographs? Silly photographs? So when I saw this book on Netgalley I just knew I had to get it.

And this book was even more than I thought it would be. My thought was that it would be pictures only, but no, instead we also get some information on the cute dogs + if they got adopted. Which I loved.

It just gave the dogs something extra, learning about their old family, about their personalities and at times how they got adopted. It was also fun to read how fast they got adopted. Some got adopted in the wink of an eye. And then there are a few that are still waiting.

The stories really warm one’s heart, and then those cute (and at times just hilarious photographs) made me go “Awwww” every time I scrolled to the next page. Because with each page there was more cuteness.

I also loved that it was a blend of different ages. Not only puppies, but also older dogs. Or dogs that were sick. Everyone gets a chance to shiny in the spotlight.

And I definitely loved the last part: Look at us now. Which shows us photographs on how the dogs look now. It was really a delight to see all the dogs happy and healthy and with their new families. Love that this was added!

This is one book I would highly recommend to everyone! Don’t skip this one. Though you might get an overdose on cuteness.
